................rendevous................

Only if
If only now
The time stops
this moment
The metal
Shimmering
A contemplative glow
Of a retiring sun
The wobbling waves
On the golden black
Aquatic world
Hanging between
The city in steel
And the city
Upside down
Quivering
Somewhere in between
Lines in auburn
Drawn on a blushing
Sky canvas
Twigs entwined
In anticipation
Of end of Autumn
And a wintry chill
Awaiting the steel ropes
Of the hanging walkover
Bridge to shed the gold
And hug a silver
Glow from the midnight moon......

some time has gone since

.......Inspiration trickles down a lost link desperately trying to hold on to. Inspiration is dead in a Reality as consuming as cancer. Eating the soul from within. Gnawing at it like menacing rodents gone rampant with plague.......

.......The silvery moon hanging in anticipation at a quiet western horizon. Moonlight blues and silver fairies making love by the dancing stream. Streams and cascades caressing the mountain slopes, awaken in the shadows of a silent night. Contemplating a mood that stirs strings of a faint nostalgia. Southern stars, bright with a soothing brilliance, trying to communicate. Posing questions, eternal querries about the nature of beauty, the implications of life......

........Then there are the tears. Heavens look upon and nod in helplessness. Wandering souls, burning amber within, a cold impassivity on the surface. Passions running high, but with not the remotest inkling of the vents. Vents to release the rapid retrogate. Only a wiltering wilderness to wallow over. A wilderness that once had inspired love in its greatest manifestation. Only to sit back and stare at fading snapshots from an anonymous album.......

........dream.........

Stepping over the threshold of
love and loathing
Where agony is a companion
and joy you sleep with
Sunbeams on the window pane
bursting the silent gloom
Into pieces of shattered gold
clinging to the empty room
Muffled cries in disharmony
laughter rolling down the cheeks
Music tapping restless feet
rolling stones over gurgling creeks
Faces laconic, lovable, lost
veiled in streaks of friendly smiles
Visit, midnight surreal hours
over edges, though million miles
A footstep, loud
on auburn sand
Washed in bashful
brazen hands
Waves roll, unroll in
silent pangs of history
A quiet solitude, chirping
through a day begun
in melancholy glory......
